Rebuilding our Warriors
A Two‑Part Healing & Leadership Journey for Men
Rebuilding Our Warriors is a trauma‑informed, culturally grounded program that supports men to reconnect to identity, restore balance (mind, body, spirit, emotions), and walk forward with responsibility, purpose, and leadership.
6‑Day Series at a Glance (Two 3‑Day Workshops)
Workshop 1 (3 days)
Reclaiming Our Past — Mending the Wounds
Safety, truth, and trust
Trauma as disconnection (mind, body, spirit, emotions)
Coping patterns and addiction as pain management
Forgiveness and release
Foundation for living the Code
Workshop 2 (3 days)
Reclaiming Our Warriors — Walking the Path Forward
Healthy warrior identity (protector, provider, role model)
Responsibility over blame
Living the Warrior’s Code in real situations
Warrior Self‑Care Plan + accountability
Warrior’s Oath ceremony and commitments
Two threads through the full series: Warrior’s Code (the values we practice) + Warrior’s Oath (the commitment we carry forward).
The workshops are designed to be engaging and interactive through circle sharing, paired conversations, small‑group exercises, body‑based grounding, hands‑on workbook activities, and respectful humour. Each teaching is followed by an activity so men can apply the lesson immediately.
Rebuilding Our Warriors (Full Two‑Session Package)
Session One (3 days): Reclaiming Our Past — Mending the Wounds
Purpose: Create safety, truth, and understanding by exploring personal, familial, and intergenerational trauma and how disconnection shaped identity, roles, and coping.
Highlights include:
Truth before healing: understanding what happened and how it impacted men and families
Trauma as disconnection (mind, body, spirit, emotions) and the fight/flight/freeze responses
Origins of addiction and coping patterns (pain management, not moral failure)
Forgiveness and release as reclaiming power—without pressure or forced sharing
Restoring balance through grounding practices, reflection, and safe circle support
Session Two (3 days): Reclaiming Our Warriors — Walking the Path Forward
Purpose: Transform healing into action by building healthy warrior identity, responsibility, and practical tools for daily living and leadership.
Highlights include:
Defining the modern warrior: protector, provider, role model (warrior ≠ violence)
Responsibility over blame: turning insight into commitments and healthier choices
Living the teachings daily (values, relationships, parenting, community leadership)
Developing a positive warrior mindset and reframing personal stories with truth
Creating a Warrior Self‑Care Plan (spiritual, emotional, physical, support connections)
Why Both Sessions Matter (Value of the Full Package)
Safety and trust first: Session One builds the foundation so men can show up honestly without shame.
Healing becomes action: Session Two turns insight into responsibility, self‑care, and leadership practices.
Continuity and integration: participants connect the “why” (wounds/patterns) to the “how” (tools/commitments).
Stronger outcomes: the full package supports lasting change in relationships, parenting, and community roles.
